I know ‘they’ say you shouldn’t do book reviews – but I like them, still feel honored when asked to write them, and find they are still the best way to distill your thoughts on a new publication with relevancy to your research interests. Its for that reason that I am happy to announce that I have had a review of Marek Tamm’s edited volume on the Afterlife of Events: Perspectives on Mnemohistory published in Edinburgh University Press’ Cultural History (5(1),PP 109-111).
You can read the first couple of paragraphs of my review on the journal’s website here. If you don’t have access to the full text and want to read more about my thoughts on the book drop me an email and I will send you a pre-copyedit version of the review.
